the routine

our lives are connected tightly
we have created a routine
change has broken up the "suppose to be this way" a bit
the routine is not as routine anymore
not like is always has been
i understand all the whys
my head gets it
my heart is slow to respond
in time
it just takes time
new patterns
new knitting
new weaving of lives
and the connection of new lives
i am learning to embrace all of it
